Our Health Guarantee Includes:

1-Year Health Guarantee: Every puppy from S.L Dachshund Ranch comes with a 1-year health guarantee against any life-threatening genetic conditions.

Genetic Testing: We perform extensive genetic testing on our breeding dogs to ensure they are free from hereditary conditions, including heart disease, hip dysplasia, and other common Dachshund health issues.

Vet-Checked Before You Take Them Home: All our puppies receive a thorough veterinary examination to confirm they are in excellent health, vaccinated, dewormed, and free of parasites before joining their new families.

Vaccinations and Deworming: Your puppy will be up-to-date on all recommended vaccinations and deworming treatments at the time of adoption.

Genetic Conditions: We guarantee that your puppy is free from hereditary conditions such as:

  • Hip Dysplasia
  • Elbow Dysplasia
  • Heart Murmur
  • Deafness
  • Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA)
  • Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD)
  • Patellar Luxation

Congenital Health Issues: Any serious health problems present at the time of purchase will be covered under our health guarantee.

Emergency Health Issues: If your puppy develops a severe health condition (as identified by a licensed veterinarian) within 7 days of receiving them, we will work with you to find a solution, which may include treatment or partial reimbursement.

 While we take every precaution to ensure the health of your puppy, some conditions may not be covered under our health guarantee. These include:

  • Injuries caused by accidents, neglect, or improper care.

  • Environmental factors such as exposure to extreme weather, poor diet, or lack of proper veterinary care.

  • Normal aging conditions or non-genetic health issues that develop after the first year.

  • Conditions resulting from improper care such as lack of exercise or training.

đŸŸ How Our Health Guarantee Works

Vet Check: Upon bringing your new puppy home, we recommend scheduling a vet check within the first 72 hours (3 days) to confirm their health status.

Notification of Issues: If your vet identifies any health conditions covered by our health guarantee within this time frame, please notify us immediately with the vet’s documentation.

Return or Replacement: If a genetic or congenital issue is confirmed within the first 12 months, we will:

  • Provide you with a replacement puppy of equal value, or

  • Offer a partial refund of the purchase price, based on the severity of the condition.
